Error in checks when I have changed the data source from manual input

The warnings are due to the company using manual entry in the previous year. In that case, there are no underlying transactions showing how the balances have been built up. When Tax & Annual accounts checks that the closing balance from last year matches the opening balance for this year, it is therefore not possible to perform a full check – even though the balances are actually correct.

This is common when changing the data source from manual entry. The warning does not mean that anything is wrong, and the balances will be able to be checked correctly in the next financial year.
