Warnings and errors when checking the annual report
On the Submission and Digital sign pages, or anytime by clicking the Flag icon 
, the annual report will be checked for common errors. If any, a message is displayed.

An item that should be fixed. You should check these, but the annual report is possible to submit with warnings. You can mark the warnings as complete, which means they are hidden. To view warnings that have been marked as complete, you can switch on Show all, incl checks marked as done. Completed warnings are indicated by a green icon. |

Error | An item that must be fixed. Årsredovisningen is not possible to submit with errors. |
When clicked, the errors will be presented and you can navigate directly to the page where you can complete/update the information.
Here you will find tips on common warnings and errors that may occur and how to solve them
The row "Residual amount at end of taxation year" in the column "Profit brought forward" (XXX) does not match the row in the balance sheet (XXX)
- Check that the changes and amounts are correctly entered under Changes in equity.
- Start by checking that the Opening balance is correct for the retained earnings and the profit for the year.
- Check that the Carried forward amount is consistent with the allocation of profits in the annual report of the previous year.
- Check if a dividend was decided in the previous year or at an extraordinary general meeting.
- Check if any other changes have been decided, such as shareholder contributions or repayment of shareholder contributions.
- Check the other items under equity to ensure that they are consistent with what is stated in Changes in Equity.
- Check the bookkeeping
- Has the previous year's result been transferred from Profit for the year to Profit brought forward in accordance with the previous year's appropriation?
- Have any dividends been recognised in the profit and loss account or in the profit brought forward?
- Are there other transactions against profit brought forward that you are not aware of or that indicate a change not recognised in Changes in Equity?
The row "Amount at the beginning of the year" in the column "Profit for the year" (XXX) does not match the row in the balance sheet (XXX)
- Check that the changes and amounts are correctly entered under Changes in equity.
- Start by checking that the Amount at the beginning of the year matches the result of the previous year in the profit and loss account.
- Check if the other values in the line Amount at the beginning of the year under Changes in equity are consistent with the opening balances of the balance sheet.
- Check against the Balance at end of year in the previous year's annual report and note any differences.
- Check the bookkeeping
- Have there been any transactions against the profit and loss account in the previous year since the finalisation of the annual report?
